Affiliate Marketing: A beginner’s Tale

 Making extra income online has been a goal and indeed a drive for me for a few months now. The journey seemed rather complicated and difficult. There seemed to be a ton of ‘gurus’ and ‘experts’ who provided a varying degree of information and sometimes even conflicting reports and advice on the way forward.

Haven spent the last few months studying and learning from ‘gurus’ both free and paid content and watching hours of YouTube on the subject, I got even more confused! Everybody seemed to be pulling me in different directions and in fact, was inundated and ‘paralyzed’ with all the information I had.

So finally, I made up my mind, I will START! no matter how imperfect the work is because an OUNCE OF DOING IS MUCH BETTER THAN A TON OF THINKING. So after much hesitation, I finally made up my mind. How do I make money online? any amount? How do I get my first money online in a practical way?

I made my first dollar online by working on clickworker  performing some microtasks. In a few days, I have made over $25 US dollars in real cash. The amount was kinda low but I was quite excited to make my first money online knowing well that earning online is now real to me. Performing micro tasks online can pay hard cash but it’s quite laborious and time-consuming and as such it just isn’t scalable.

The solution to this problem (scalability) is affiliate marketing! where you promote and sell other people’s products for a commission of the sale! This blog is the tale of my journey to success as an affiliate marketer. I will try different methods and explain to you exactly what works so you don’t have to go in circles as I did!
